Paul Conroy
Paul is co-founder and director of Full Genomes Corporation, the first company to offer direct-to-consumer, next generation sequencing of the complete Y chromosome. He began his career as a consultant at LANsystems, where he advised 4 of the top 10 law firms in the world on all matters IT. Following that he worked as a consultant at Deutsche Bank, where he designed and built interoperability solutions between fixed asset computer systems. He later worked at Newsweek Magazine, where he designed and built vendor extranet systems, for distribution and print management. He received a BS in Computer Science from Hunter College (CUNY) graduating Summa Cum Laude. Paul has been active in online communities related to genetic genealogy and personal health-related genetic testing for many years. He manages a number of online genetic genealogy projects and is a frequent contributor to numerous online communities and blogs in these areas.
Arcturus Eden
Arcturus began his career with Commonfund Capital, a venture capital and private equity fund of funds managing $6 billion at the time of his joining. He participated in all aspects of the investment decision-making process, overseeing due diligence and investment recommendations on the commitment of $200 million in 10 funds in the areas of technology, consumer products, healthcare and special situations. After consutling for GE Capital and Jacobs Private Equity, Arcturus joined AGT International, a global safety and security company providing artificial intelligence technology solutions for governments and corporate clients around the world, where he was responsible for the firm's acuisition strategy. He completed his MBA with honors at IDC Herzliya, Israel and received a B.S. in Biology from Trinity College, CT, where he was on the Faculty Honors List. Arcturus has been invited to speak at various forums on the Technological Singularity and Entrepreneurship including Singularity University, the Machine Intelligence Research Institute, The Hub and the Thiel 20 Under 20 Program.
